Pawna Lake camping – a perfect view to your camping


Location: Located in the most exciting state of India, Maharashtra, one might often assume this state to be a concrete jungle but if one wants to take a break from the daily hassles of life and go for a short vacation, this might be the place one be looking for. 

It offers a short trip to enjoy the beauty of nature and just take a break from the tensions of life and enjoy the leisure around you. It is a 2 days and 1 night camping experience where one gets a chance to enjoy the Lakeside camping and enjoy a nice cozy bonfire experience and enjoy the music. If one wants to spend some alone time or spend some time with your friends and family just to release your tensions and enjoy some time in this beautiful ambience. 

One gets to enjoy the experience of camping in the lakeside on the banks of Pawna Lake and enjoy the beautiful sunset here. 

More about: Pawna Lake is a beautiful artificial lake in between the beautiful ranges of Maharashtra and is 10kms away from Kamshet on the old Mumbai-Pune highway. This place is known for its ambience in terms of nature and lake and beautiful green hills all together. 

After the construction of Pawna Dam, this place has gained some attention by tourists and travellers to have an experience of lakeside camping. 

Timings and Accommodation: One is welcomed with evening tea and snacks which is given between 4PM to 6PM. Followed by some barbeque snacks (both veg and non veg items available depending from person to person) which is served between 7PM to 8PM. Followed by some amazing unlimited dinner which is served between 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM and it is all self service. 

The breakfast is also available which is tea and poha served between 8AM to 9AM. 

There is accommodation for double/triple tents on a sharing basis. Common washroom facility is also available. One can enjoy the serene bonfire experience and enjoy the chance of stargazing as one might not do it on a daily basis and hear the insect sounds at night. 

Perks:One can enjoy the boating activity for which one has to pay extra fair. 

If one has arrived there camping during the monsoon season, the stay would be there in the shades because of the constant rainfall. 

One can enjoy the bonfire along with some games played, telling stories, enjoying music, and so much more. One is also provided with RO water therefore, a good care of your health and safety is taken care of.  

Things to carry: One should carry comfortable footwear with them along with a mosquito repellent because one is enjoying this experience in nature along the lakeside.

One should also carry an extra set of clothes and also a sunscreen so as to protect themselves from the direct rays of the sun. One should carry flip flops with them so that they can comfortably enjoy the bonfire and go to the washroom and also bring a towel along with themselves. One can capture moments on their camera or mobile phones but one needs to take care of their property as one will be held responsible. One should also carry a flashlight along with some extra pair of batteries. 

The music will last till 10PM as per governments order and this place does not exempt smoking or drinking and bonfire experience is common for everyone. 

Washroom facilities are also common for everyone. Camping is very basic in nature and one should not expect luxuries. Non vegetarian meals might not be available on certain festive occasions and one is asked to not to litter here and there. Mobile and laptop charging points are available on camp sites and on common points. Indoor/outdoor games are available as per campsite requirement and also on the basis of the requirements of the tourists and travellers. 

One might not enjoy the gaming session during the monsoon season or when it is raining. 

Pawna Lake camping is a mesmerizing journey and will give you an experience that will be very soothing and heart warming so that when you go back to your daily routined life, you will feel fresh and rejuvenated.
